Help us break down language barriers
This site, which publishes translations of Global Voices stories, is an initiative of community members who feel passionate about translating news from around the world into their language.
There are currently no active volunteers for Global Voices in Farsi, but we are seeking new translators to bring this site back to life. Apply to become a volunteer translator and take up the baton of the Farsi language community. Learn more.
Recently, a number of groups came together to create a Declaration of Internet Freedom. To date, the Declaration has been signed by more than 1300 organizations and companies and continues to grow.
See all those languages up there? We translate Global Voices stories to make the world's citizen media available to everyone.
Global Voices is supported by the efforts of our volunteer contributors, foundations, donors and mission-related services. For more information please read our Fundraising Ethics Policy.
